It’s that time of year again!

Valentine’s Day has arrived and you can spend it with your kids! No worries, you are not alone. We can make this day such a great time creating activities with them.

They will enjoy some fun times with you as you chat with them and be a part of activities that involve some of their favorites too!

Let’s make this short and sweet. That way, you are able to start the fun today!

Here are 5 ways you can enjoy Valentine’s Day and include your children:

1). As a family, choose a movie that represents a family having fun together. Choose a comfortable spot that fits you all so that everyone is comfortable.

2). It’s treat time! Carve some time out and make the kitchen your creative grounds! Try a new recipe! If you already make cookies on a regular basis, try cupcakes or Rice Krispie Treats with decoration! Pinterest is the best!

3). You can even try making breakfast together for that special day. Use strawberry or raspberry jam on toast or French toast sticks with sprinkles. Go ahead, it’s a holiday! 🙂

4). Make Valentine’s Day cards! Get out all of your craft items and begin to make sweet cards for friends and family and take them to the nearest mailbox after stamped. The kids will get a kick out of it!

Think about this, you can do some fun things for your children. Drop a Valentine’s Day card/note and snack in their lunchbox or bookbag. It will make them smile!

They love school supplies with those pictures; try pencils, pens, notebooks, pencil bags, etc in the color red or with hearts, bunnies, puppies, so many choices!

Conclusion

No more dwelling on not having a date our a significant other on this day. That day will come when it is time.

This day can be as fun as you make it! Keep the faith, it will be more of a “love” day as blessings continue to come your way!
