Single Ladies… if you are anything like me, you’re single, you love coffee and your bed is your comfort zone. Well, you don’t have to be like me to relate to my rant. 🙂

When I say I enjoy being home, trust that I mean it. My home is my haven and my bed is my sanctuary.

The space is all mine.

A sanctuary being true, I also enjoy the convenience. It allows me to have most things I want right at my fingertips…in the space I created.

When in my bed, I always have a book or two, my laptop, a notepad, a TV remote, and a snack if hungry. It goes without saying that there are several pillows near me.

Over the course of the week, I tended to fold what I have worn and stack it neatly at the edge of the bed.

Then it would happen.

Frustration. Lack of comfort and what I called a bit of anxiety with all of this stuff around me.

I’d begin to focus on where everything should be stored, then feel lost if I put everything away. Weird, I know.

Then I did it.

I stopped what I was doing, gathered my items, and put them in their proper place. With each belonging being given a home, the lighter I felt.

By the time my bed was clear, I seemed so refreshed and began to be filled with a bit of energy.

Conclusion

The feeling was freeing.

I have finally gotten to a point where I would rather have a bed without stuff on than with it.

As I have decided to choose one to two of my favorites to have in bed with me, I will plan on putting those back when done so my space can continue to be free.

Ladies, we’re allowed. It’s okay…but like anything else, moderation is key.

How is your bed looking today?

Note: I started out with speaking to you being in the forefront of my mind, but it ended up being about me…again. It was supposed to be longer but I found it necessary for this length.
